Scriptures on Healing

It is my joy to share with you some of my favorite Scriptures on healing. These are the same ones I used to begin my healing process and I know they will heal you too!

Healing from abuse does take time, there is no magic pill that can do a radical healing in a split second, but it's not as hard as you'd think.

When I began my healing process, I used the Scriptures on healing below to help me. It was God's word that healed my deep emotional and physical wounds, lifted me out of a pit of depression, and it gave me hope to live. It is my desire to share with you the joy of being healed and whole through God's Word. It is a joy to help you and guide you towards total freedom, total healing, and total joy!

I want you to experience freedom from the ill effects of abuse and see the bondages broken from your past. As you pray, meditate, and declare the Scriptures below you will begin to see healing in your mind, body and soul. You will begin to experience joy and peace. You will have a knowing that God's Word is healing you! It's an amazing experience. I would like to prescribe to you to read these once in the morning and once in the evening. As days and weeks pass you will experience healing in your mind, body and emotions. I know when God’s word is prayed over our self we are healed -- I’ve seen it in my own life.

FOR I AM THE LORD WHO HEALS YOU

Scriptures on Healing

For I, Jehovah, am healing thee (Exodus 15:26b YLT).

For I am the Lord, the one who heals you(Exodus 15:26b GNT)

I will keep you healthy... and I will give you long, full lives (Exodus 23:25 NLT).

And the Lord will protect you from all sickness (Deuteronomy 7:15 NLT).

The Lord your God will cleanse your heart and the hearts of all your descendants so that you will love Him with all your heart and soul and so you may live (Deuteronomy 30:6 NLT).

I have set before you today life and death... so choose life so that you may live (Deuteronomy 30:19 NASB)!

Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are Mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior (Isaiah 43:1-3 NLT).

I have paid the price to set you free (Isaiah 44:22b NASB).

I will go before you and make the rough places smooth (Isaiah 45:2 NASB).

I created you and have cared for you since before you were born I will be your God throughout your lifetime – until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along the way and save you (Isaiah 46:3-4 ERV).

I, even I, am He who comforts you (Isaiah 51:12 NASB).

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed(Isaiah 53:5 NKJV).

For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope(Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).

I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for (Jeremiah 29:11 The Message).

Nothing is too hard for Me (Jeremiah 32:17b NLT)!

Nothing is too difficult for Me (Jeremiah 32:17b GNT)!

For I am with you, declares the Lord, to save you (Jeremiah 30:11 NASB).

For I will restore you to health and I will heal you, declares the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17 NASB).

I will give you back your health and heal your wounds says the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17 NLT).

For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing (Jeremiah 31:25 NLT).

For I will bring it to health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth (Jeremiah 33:6 NASB).

Behold, I will apply a healing dressing to it and cure, and I will heal them, and will reveal unto them an abundance of peace and truth (Jeremiah 33:6 The Darby Translation).
